Coat Color Test for Pug

Pug occur in two basic coat colors: black and fawn. The gene that controls this difference is K. All Pugs have masks, even though they cannot be seen on the black dogs. Therefore all are E^ME^M genotype. At the agouti locus, all Pugs are a^ya^y genotype. All Pugs have black nose leather and pads and are BB genotype.
