BREED DESCRIPTION
The Munsterlander breed originated in Germany in the early 1900s.
Alert, intelligent and energetic, the Large
Munsterlander is also strong with great stamina. He is easily trained and is very keen and obedient. Although, he
doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time.
The Large Munsterlander is essentially a working dog, so
adequate exercise provision must be available if living in a town-dwelling. The breed is best suited for country living.
The breed stands at 23-25 in for males and 22-24 in in females.
The males weigh 55-75 lb and the females
about 50-65 lb.
The Large Munsterlander has a long and dense coat, which is neither coarse nor curly. Some
